On-demand FX

Convert funds on demand when moving liquidity across markets or preparing for payouts. Treasury Autopilot integrates FX conversion directly into the fund movement workflow — no separate FX system required.
Note: Treasury Autopilot focuses on transactional FX — converting funds as part of a transfer or payout. For advanced FX strategies (hedging, rate alerts, AI-powered optimization), refer to the Falcon FX module.

Key Benefits

  • Competitive rates: Access real-time FX rates with the ability to lock quotes.
  • Forward contracts: Lock rates today for future settlement dates, protecting against adverse rate movements.
  • Full lifecycle management: From quote to deal to settlement, manage the entire FX workflow through API.
  • Margin management: Forward deals include margin tracking with webhook notifications for margin charge events.

Integration Notes

  1. Quote before settle. Always call Create a Quote
    API
to lock a rate before calling Create a Settlement
    API
. Quotes are time-bound — if expired, create a new one.
  1. Forward deals require margin. When creating a forward deal, margin may be required. Subscribe to
    fx.deals.MARGIN_CHARGE_
webhooks to handle margin call events.
  1. Check the trading calendar for forward deals. Not all dates are valid settlement dates. Use Query Trading Calendar
    API
to confirm available value dates before creating a forward deal.
  1. Cancellation is time-sensitive. Forward deals can be cancelled before they move to
    PROCESSING
    status. Once in
    PROCESSING
, cancellation may not be possible.
