Account Management
Global Accounts are the foundation of Treasury Autopilot. Each Global Account represents a collection account in a specific currency and market, enabling your business to receive and hold funds locally. Before any fund operations can take place, you must first create a Global Account.
Note: Account creation is the first integration step. Call Create a Global Account

to provision a collection account before any fund operations.Key Benefits
- Speed: Accounts are provisioned asynchronously. Once created, you receive real-time status updates via webhook.
- Flexibility: Create separate accounts per currency and market for multi-currency operations.
- Control: Query, update, and close accounts programmatically through a unified API.
How it Works
- Account Provisioning: Call Create a Global Account APIto open a new Global Account for a specific currency and market. The account is created asynchronously and transitions from PENDING to ACTIVE once provisioned.
- Account Status: Subscribe to globalAccountswebhooks to receive real-time notifications when account status changes (ACTIVE, FAILED, CLOSED).
- Account Lifecycle: Accounts can be queried, updated, and closed through the API. Closed accounts must have zero balance and no pending transactions.
- Multi-currency Setup: For multi-currency operations, create separate Global Accounts per currency. Each account receives a dedicated Virtual Account number for collection.
