Settlement
The Settlement API manages FX currency settlement operations. Create settlements to exchange currencies based on quotes (SPOT) or existing deals (UNFUNDED_SPOT, FORWARD). Supports bank account payouts with beneficiary specification and fee tracking.
Settlements can be initiated in the following scenarios:
- SPOT — Settle immediately based on a live quote. Provide a quoteIdand the settlement executes at the quoted rate.
- FORWARD — Settle against an existing forward deal. Provide a dealIdalong with the sell or buy amount.
- UNFUNDED_SPOT — Settle against an existing unfunded spot deal. Provide a dealIdalong with the sell or buy amount.
